I've spent 25 years behind the curtain of enterprise software — designing, building, and rescuing systems for organizations like JPMorgan Chase, Ernst & Young, Symantec, and LexisNexis (via Law360). My work has powered platforms for 100,000+ users, HR portals handling 10,000 daily visitors, lead systems processing millions of requests per day, near-real time compliance systems for thousands of concurrent users, and e-commerce platforms managing hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly revenue.
Today I run George Rios Consulting LLC — a fractional CTO and forward-deployed engineering practice covering applied AI, edge and cloud development, and technology leadership and architecture advisory. I embed with growing teams to defragment their tech stacks, replacing patchwork vendor systems with unified platforms that actually talk to each other. Forward-deployed means I work inside your environment and ship the integration layer myself, rather than handing over a roadmap and an invoice.

Before this practice I spent 24 years running Plural Solutions, Inc., a custom software development firm built on C# and .NET, where I created Insurancera, a self-hosted, AI-powered insurance management platform with 15+ integrated modules. My background includes a 5-year engagement at Catch Health (400K+ member health insurance marketplace), building broker management systems at FHK Insurance, and creating lead distribution platforms at 360Connect serving multiple verticals.
